You want that second badge. As you stand before the doorway to the Cerulean City gym, you consider your team. You don't have any particular advantage against water types, and your Charmeleon is at a pretty big disadvantage.

Regardless, you have to try, so you push open the doors. Inside you quickly find the gym's leader. "Welcome to Cerulean City Gym. My name is Misty, and I'm this the Gym Leader here," she announces proudly.

You realize that the arena is the large pool at the center of the gym and curse under your breath. This will be even more of a challenge than you thought. Suddenly, an alternative springs to mind. "So to get your badge, I just need to defeat you, correct?"

Misty nods. "That's right."
