Rise hurried back to her dressing room. I should probably mentally rehearse my routine before I start, she thought. She gave a twirl in front of the mirror. 'Was this cute enough?' she wondered. She turned around. Kanji was at the door, staring at her. "Ah, Kanji, was that too much for you?" she said, winking. "Don't worry, these are just my stage shorts, see?" She lifted up the front of her skirt teasingly. "It's my se-cr-et!"

Kanji turned bright red, stuttering. Rise looked at him curiously. She shouldn't be having that much of an effect. She looked down. Instead of her shorts, she saw a cute pair of lacy black panties, held together at the sides with a string tie. She yanked the front of her skirt down, her face matching the color of her hair. "Ahaha, I'd forgotten that I'd taken those shorts off earlier."

She tried to change the subject. "So, Kanji, what did you need to tell me?"

The tall boy regained his composure. "Ah, yeah, there's going to be a power outage shortly, so the concert is going to be delayed slightly."

"We can't have any delays, though! Who knows how long they will take to fix it. If we delay too long, the crowd will start asking for refunds. There has to be a backup generator around here."

Suddenly, the lights went out.
