Does Luke run for it or does he get let back in the limo?
Get back in the limo.
Luke looked into the ever-growing crowd of high school girls with his back pressed up against the limo parked by the curbside. No matter where he looked there was girls flooding in to see him in his ridiculous underwear, cutting off any escape.
Luke felt someone poke his butt from behind. He jumped and turned to find Harold was still watching him squirm from the window. "You know young man, I would consider letting you in if you..." Harold was interrupted by the appearance of a strong-looking hand appearing by his shoulder. That hand belonged to a very angry-looking Miguel, "LET. HIM. IN." Was what he said to Harold. They were three simple words but Miguel managed them in emphatic English.
Without any hesitation, Harold undid the lock on the door and Luke threw himself in the second it opened. Miguel caught Luke into his embrace and all Luke did in response was throw his arms around him and bury his blushing face into the man's shoulder. Luke didn't move an inch as Miguel settled him into his lap as he sat back down. Luke was simply too ashamed to look anybody in the eye at that point, so he just sat quietly while clinging to Miguel for security as he sulked in his lap. Miguel, sensing Luke's distress, ruffled the boy's hair and stroked his back consolingly as Courtney and her three friends found themselves seats in the stretch limo.
"Thanks for picking me and my friends up Dad. I know you were on your way to a meeting, so sorry for the inconvenience." Courtney was speaking to Harold. So this was their relationship, Courtney was Harold's daughter.
"Wha...? Oh! Yes! Never mind sweetie," Harold was still a little shaken up by Miguel's little scare earlier "it was my pleasure to help you and your friends. One of the perks about owning a limo is that I can conduct my business while taking on extra passengers." All four of the girls thanked Harold cheerily as he warily looked towards Miguel. Miguel was looking back at him while still holding on to a shame-filled Luke. "Ah, yes. On that note girls, I would like you all to meet Miguel Ortiz and his little friend...uhhhhhh?" Harold was at a loss.
"Hanes." Miguel finished for him.
"Hanes? Really!? I love that! We could make that his stage name. The crowds will eat it up!" Luke groaned. Not only have they all forgotten his real name already but they stuck him with his hated nickname permanently. "Say hello to Mr. Ortiz and his friend Hanes girls."
"Hi Mr. Ortiz, hi Hanes!" The girls smiled and waved in the boys' direction.
Miguel could literally feel the heat of Luke's cheek increase from embarrassment as the boy held him tighter. Patting Luke on the back, Miguel gave the girls a simple smile and a nod general in their direction.
"So, are you two going out?" Asked Courtney.
"Hm?" Miguel held Luke tightly.
"I was just thinking, you two would make a cute couple." Courtney's friends nodded in agreement. Luke could only remain silent and still since he still couldn't bring himself to look at anyone. Right behind him, one of the women whispered something into Harold's ear. He smiled, "Yes, that is a good idea." Just like that, the group started chatting something in Spanish with Miguel. This went on right until the limo made another stop.
Where did the limo stop this time?
