"Please, I want to go," Kristen protests weakly.

"Your passport must be taken to check its authenticity," Donje explains coolly. "You have two options: we can hold you in prison with the convicts and sex offenders..."

The look in Kristen's clear blue eyes made it clear that wasn't going to be the preferred option.

"...or we can give you a special work visa," Donje continues. "It will allow you to live and travel in Lumumba while we check your legal status."

"Oh yes, please, that one, sir!" the Swede begs.

"Well, you will need work, however. Do you have employment in Lumumba?" Pecs asks.

Kristen shakes her head sadly.

"Well, we may be able to arrange something for you..." Donje says with a smile.

Kristen listens eagerly but apprehensively.
