Get a baseline so he can plan the changes

Nick put the set up on the coffee table in the family room right by the front door and the garage door. Tracy, Sam and Chris walked in together and looked at Nick with quizzical gazes.

“What’s all that?” Sam asked.

“Oh,” Nick acted surprise, “These? These are headsets I signed out for my psych project.”

“Why do you need a VR headsets for Psychology?” Chris asked.

“Privacy,” Nick smiled, “Complete privacy on how people respond to the comprehensive personality test. I have this idea that if people know someone is going to grade the test, they will do the test differently. So, by putting the test on a VR headset and having remote answer entries and an automated scoring system, we can give more accurate readings. If it works for basic value tests then it should work for more comprehensive psychological evaluations.”

“Ok,” Tracy said, “The ultimate privacy should mean honesty?”

“Right,” Nick smiled, “I am trying to do calibrations…”

“Anything we can do to help?” Tracy asked.

“Well… would you mind doing the tests?” Nick asked.

“Sure,” Chris said, “After I put down my bag.”

“I don’t know…” Sam was unsure.

“What’s the harm?” Tracy smiled, “Let’s all take the test.”

“Ok Mom,” Sam sighed, “Could you get me a drink Nick? I am thirsty from the gym.”

Nick went and poured glasses of water for the three and put in a few drops of the hypnotic **** into each glass. He then put the head sets behind a glass of water and a clip board with a standard values test on a sheet of paper on the coffee table for each of the ladies. They came back and sat down. Nick explained how the procedure worked. Take the written test, and while he was grading them, they would take the same test on the VR to see if there were any differences. What he didn’t tell them was that while they took the written test, the hypnotic in the water would open up their minds. Then when they took the test on the VR headset they would get subliminal commands to “Answer Truthfully” and “Forget the questions.”

So Nick order pizza while the ladies took the written test and he was pleased to see they had all drunk most of their **** glasses of water.

The ladies took the headsets off at about the same time and blinked a few times. Nick could see they were still in a light daze. Nick acted normal and gave Tracy her results on the back of the answer sheet, he then brought up the computer display with the ratings as a series of divided bars.

“Well Tracy, you are a bit more libertine on the VR than on paper,” Nick said, “More open to new ideas.”

“I guess so,” Tracy smiled.

“And Sam, you are more conservative than you want people to know,” Nick said switching the display.

“What does that mean?” Sam asked.

“You have ten more points on the ‘traditional family’ over ‘non-traditional family’ on your written test,” Nick shrugged, “I am not judging you.”

“What did mine say?” Chris asked.

“Here you go,” Nick put up the bogus results.

Just then the door bell rang and Nick closed the laptop. Pizza had arrived.

After dinner, Nick was in his room going over the real results… Tracy and Sam were both conventional heterosexual women with some Bi-Curiosities. Nick smiled at Tracy’s admission of engaging in anal sex, but not really enjoying it. He would fix that.
