Get Jackie some more coffee.

As Jackie peers at her monitor, reading figures to someone on the phone, you quietly pick up her empty mug and walk it to the break room. A few minutes with the company's war-torn coffee machine and you're able to fill up the mug, add cream the way Jackie likes it, and return to her desk.

When you set the mug down, she turns at the sound and begins to give you a "I really, REALLY don't have time for this" look, but then she sees the full, steaming mug of creamed coffee on her desk. Her eyes light up. She says "I'll call you back," to whoever is on the phone, peels off her headset, picks up the mug in both hands and takes a careful sip. "Mmm," she says, "you are a lifesaver."

"You looked a little frazzled," you tell her.

She lifts her eyebrows in mock concern. "You think I look frazzled?"

"Well, I think you look amazing. But frazzled."

She smiles broadly. "Aw. You're so sweet. I really should do something nice for you."
