Georgia with the Raygun

Bill and Scarlet rushed to the door and quietly ducked through. On the other side was his mother, Georgia, brandishing the Raygun he made for her to turn Scarlett back to his father.

“Close the door, children,” Georgia said.

Scarlett closed the door, her eyes not meeting Georgia’s gaze.

“Where were you the past twelve hours?”Georgia asked.

“What’s with the gun?” Bill asked.

“You remember,” she said, “If Scarlett was a nice girl last night I was going to change her back with this.”

Sweat ran down Bill’s forehead. They had been late. If his mom didn’t like the response as to why things could get very interesting.

“Tell me what happened,” Georgia demanded.
