George Anthony

Prologue:

'Why is it parents have such high expectations of their kids?' That's just the question that went through the mind of one young man in particular. His name is George Anthony. He had just finished showering to get ready for high school, thinking that times were simpler as he came in his room with a towel around his waist.

When he was little, he once thought his dad, Jackson Anthony aka "Factotum," by heroic title, always carried tools with him to family outings: a couple of barbecues, a baseball game, picnics during the spring and summer. This was because the drinks were always chilled, and the hot dogs and hamburgers were heated up if ever cooled; sometimes if he ever needed a cool breeze when it was too hot, one would conveniently blow gently on his face and skin. His father had the ability to replicate other powers, but he retired from fighting crime when George was in his mother's womb.

His mother, Mira, or "Miss Miracle" was a doctor who was always so busy providing a good life for her husband and her boy; Surgeries, transfusions, and near-**** cases. She was trained with all surgical tools, and she's helped all sick and injured people. Not only that, but she could also improve the health of her patients due to her power of manipulating positive forces. She too was once a crime fighter, but she didn't want her super baby to feel abandoned. Ironic... But whenever she could, she would spend as much time as she could with George: playing with him, reading him stories at night, and things like making him lunches for school.

Nowadays, they were different kinds of heroes: a doctor doing her job almost too well, and a well-equipped handyman doing odd jobs for the city. And George had grown into a 15-year-old boy, lucky enough to be around his parents to know they love and miss him when they're at work. They didn't leave anything to chance and found the best babysitter, Rebecca, the first time, since their baby was precious to them. For over 3 years, Rebecca was very skilled at handling 'Georgie' and she stayed on until he was old enough to go to school. But she gets called in, when she isn't busy with middle school...
