Which class should be my biggest focus?

Geography

My mind always worked best in the mornings, so it made sense that I would try to focus on geography. The further along in the day, the harder it would be for me to focus. So, I could get that class done well and then do my best to coast through the rest of the day. Plus, my knowledge of geography was pretty bad.

My first two weeks in the class, I paid attention to everything. Not just the lessons themselves, but also to the teacher and to the students. Though it was going better than I would have expected, I wanted to know who would be able to help me out in case I was struggling in the class.

The smartest person in the class very clearly seemed to be Grace, a girl who also went to my dad’s church. Her and I had met a few times, but didn’t really know each other. Nevertheless, I figured if I started to get into a bind that she would be the one who would be able to help me out.

“Salem,” Grace answered the question to the capital of the state of Oregon, pulling me out of my thoughts. I better start paying attention before I got called on to answer a question I knew nothing about.

Mrs. Richardson, my geography teacher, was a very sweet older woman. She was probably around the age of my parents and was a rather good teacher. She cared about the students and was interested in getting them to help learn. I also realized how attractive she was for her age very quickly.

She was blonde and had rather long hair. Her boobs were rather large, from what I could only assume was from giving birth to kids. She was on the smaller side, so I doubted they were completely original. Nevertheless, it was also clear that they were nowhere near fake.

“What is the mountain range that separates western Washington and western Oregon from eastern Washington and eastern Oregon?” No one said anything, so Mrs. Richardson decided to call on someone. “Violet?”

All eyes turned to me. “The Cascades.” That wasn’t actually something I’d had to study. I’d lived in Oregon in elementary school and so I’d learned some things about the state.

Over the course of my time here, it was becoming rather clear that Grace and I were the two best students in the class. I found myself being very proud of that. Because while I certainly was not dumb, it was rather rare that I found myself up with the smart people. Yet, here I was, basically in a battle with Grace.

Class let out and thing were pretty normal all the way to lunch. Then, as I’m walking into a cafeteria, there is a familiar girl standing in front of me in line to get food. I’d yet to make any friends and only knew a few people. And though I’d met her before, I was shocked when she turned around and asked me to sit with her at lunch.

Who asks me to sit with her for lunch?
