Gamble for a kiss

“Well if your so confident you can win the next round how about you bet on it, a hundred dollars says you don’t beat me next round.” You challenged Jamie

“I-I would take that bet but I don’t have 100 dollars so I can’t match that bet, let’s just get back to playing.” Jamie responded.

“Hold on maybe there is some else you can give me instead of money.” You said

“What um, what do you have in mind?” Jamie brushed some hair behind her ear nervously

You thought for a moment, your eyes idly wondering around Jamie as you were deep in thought. She smelled…. good…. not like she was wearing high end perfume good, more like some nice shampoo. The smell mixed with the sent of her leather jacket, the two sents mixing into an intoxicating fume that you wish you could some how make a candle out of it and put it in your room.

Your gaze wondered over her face, your eyes give her an intensive once over. You studied her facial features drinking in every bit of her. She had a boyish but still feminine face her chin a pointed oval. Her eyes were a sharp almond shape, they seem to sparkle even as they darted around avoiding your gaze. Her lips were small yet blended seamlessly with the rest of her face, it drawing your eyes with a slight pinkish skin tone which barely reflected light making them shine ever so slightly. You wanted to kiss her, you wanted to plant your lips against hers. You wanted to have them crash against each other like waves in the ocean.

“Are you ok?” Jamie asked

“Yeah yeah, I’m fine.” You said as your heart beat started to quicken.

“Hey how about if you win I’ll give you a hundred dollars and if I win…. you’ll give me a kiss.” you said that last part kind of quietly.

Jamie was silent for a moment no shocked reaction, no scrambling to make a responds just, silence. You held your breath, the silence was agony for you, every second it went on for felt like a year.

Then her cheeks went red “Why…?” She she asked in a whisper.

“Cause um um your cute and I um, like your face?” you were stumbling to find the right words. “It doesn’t have to mean any thing and, you don’t have to say yes.”Again there was silence for a few seconds.

“Ok.” Jamie finally said softly

You started up another round and, the fighters intros played once again. Your hands felt sweaty you were nervous. What were you thinking why did you ask for a kiss? Yeah you thought she was cute but you barely even know her! This was happening to fast you didn’t even understand fully what exactly you were feeling, what the hell were was wrong with you! The words fight appeared and Jaime’s character then charged yours. She started a combo only to cancel it half way, and back off.

Did she mess up, you thought, or is-is she trying to let me win? Then Jamie’s character charged you again, going in for a kick you blocked starting a grab combo. The fight was strange to say the least you could tell Jamie wasn’t playing as well as the last rounds you fought. Was the pressure of the bet getting to Jamie that much that it was effecting her game, or was she letting you win? Either way you ended up beating Jamie with little trouble.

“I win…” you said as you turned to face Jamie.

“You did…” Jamie said as she turned to face you.

“You don’t have to if-“ you tied to speak.

“No you won a deals a deal.” Jamie cut you off.

You scooted your chair closer to Jamie, your hands shook a little, your heart thumped in your chest. She gazed into your eyes you gazed into hers. You move a hand up to touch her face, it felt soft, and warm, it felt… it felt like it was full of life. Jamie held firm she didn’t shutter didn’t flinch, even when you touched her face she continued to look you in the eye.

You moved closer drawing your face to her’s. You held her gaze as you grew near till you physically could not meet her eyes any more. As you tilted your head for the kiss you closed your eyes. Then your lips touched, her’s were soft and, sweet. It was a good feeling your lips on her’s it felt right, it felt good, it made your body tingle. As you started pulling away you thought you could feel her pushing back, trying to give to you what you were giving her. Then your kiss broke fully.
