Gaia only

You're not really up enough money to bet on anyone in a chancy game like "Coliseum," but with Gaia playing "Treasure Hunt," you feel safe enough to bet some of your own, not won through betting, cash. So you call over the bookie and say, "Give me $500 on Gaia in 'Treasure Hunt.'"

"Very good Doe," he says, "Here's your slip, if Gaia wins that enables you to take collect your prize."

Considering that was more money than you intended to bet all night, you pass up the bookie when he shows up post registration. In the time before the game, Mary came to the Box to take any orders and you got a traditional Manhattan and Jerry showed up in the Box to announce the start of the games. Jerry takes his position and speaks into a microphone, "Ladies and gentlemen, betting has closed and the games are beginning. Please sit back and choose a monitor as our warriors battle it out." You straighten your back and look down to the pit, waiting for the warriors to start the battle.

As the warriors get called out and hooked in, you can't help but admire the fierce competition both Gaia and Kaiser will face tonight. You hope they both win, and kick some serious ass to do it. You may be a genuine gamer, but when you're in the audience, you're not above loving the primal feeling of having others compete for your entertainment, and the more ass kickings, the better, especially if your friends are the ones doing the kicking.

When the games commence, all the monitors turn on and display different warriors in different games. The technicians on the ground control the monitors' displays, though in the box, each resident gets two monitors for each game, one big one mounted on the wall that displays what every other monitor in the Arena displays and one smaller, personal one from under your seat that lets you warrior surf. As you drink your Manhattan, you set the mini-monitor to Gaia and sit back to watch her play, since she's your bet.
