Chapter 8 by Anarchy4all Anarchy4all

Why are you needed?

Gaia called Parley

As you step on the deck, your vision still blurry and your legs a little shaky, you look around and see the "Bonny," Gaia's ship. Standing on your deck, you see a small band of women, pistols on some, cutlasses on others, with Gaia in the middle of them. Looking her from the bottom up, you notice she is wearing Rosalind boots, black Harem pants, and a red jacket you always see female pirates wearing in movies. On her head rests a dove gray hat that looks very similar to the hat Orlando Bloom wore in the first "Pirates of the Caribbean," complete with an ostrich plume. At her side rests a pistol and cutlass, and due to the rip down the from of the jacket, you see she isn't wearing a blouse of any kind underneath, although that's very hard to tell, since the rip also shows off ample cleavage that you can't look away from.

Being the feminist she is, Gaia's crew is all women and she naturally named her ship after a great female Pirate, Anne Bonny, and, as much as she tries not to, occasionally, for the tougher opponents, she and her crew use a little sex appeal. Usually, however, Gaia and her crew kick some serious ass, without using their feminine assets. Though not as ruthless as you in this game, she and her crew can be a very dangerous foe for the military, civilians, and enemy pirates. Given the fact that she only brought a small crew on board your ship and no one's fighting anyone, there's only one logical reason Gaia is on your ship and you were needed.

"Cap'n," Mr. Pete starts, "They sailed into ear shot and called, 'Parley.' We had **** but to let them board, sir."

"Well, well, well, Cap'n Haley wants to Parley. What seems to be the trouble?"

"What else? Cap'n Ian and Cap'n Jeff." Both crews begin to murmur amongst each other, the two crews acting as one, the different sides suddenly gone. They may fight dirty, but that very reputation is the cause of the whispers surrounding you, proving there truly is no such thing as bad publicity. Marianne may think you're positively ruthless after what you did back on the "Hideaway," but these two would have done much worse to scum the likes of Roland and a beauty as arousing as Marianne, and the audience and the rest of the characters in game know this too.

"What about them?" you ask, as serious as possible, your gaze finally broken from her tits.

"Well, we found you're calling card left with Marianne Aldridge, and I thought a temporary truce is in order for a plan I got to beat those two."

"What's in it for me, and give me something other than fame?"

"Those two have lured in countless civilians, military, and other pirates throughout the course of this adventure, their booties are huge, and about equal, meaning they're more than likely to claim victory. If we beat them and split the treasure down the middle, it'll be just you and me left to win, assuming we're both as good as I think we are. And, at the end of this adventure, the winner throws the loser a little something extra. What do you say?"

Well, Gaia certainly knows how to make an offer and make it sound pleasing. Her wording not only butters you up, but also shows she has faith in both of your abilities to come out alive with a ship, meaning she has her bases covered. And even if you lose, Gaia is willing to throw some of the purse your way, provided you'd do the same, and you're probably the only players left in game, almost guaranteeing you money. On the other hand, this is Psycho and Badger you're going against, even if you win now, those two are known to mug anyone who beats them. You have skill enough to deal with two normal guys, but these two are wannabe gangster steroid cases, not good odds for you.

What do you decide?
