You worked for the Alliance during the battle of the Citadel but joined Cerberus with Kenneth Donnelly when they recruited him after his vocal support for Commander Shepard. This led the two of you to serve on her amazing ship the Normandy SR-2 where you met her in person and got to meet the crew that went on to save the galaxy (and you personally as they kidnapped you) from the collectors. When Commander Shepard surrendered to the Alliance afterward she and most of her crew, including you, were imprisoned for working for Cerberus.

Now that the reapers are here Shepard has been reinstated as a SPECTRE an has used this authority to release you and Donnely and put you to work on the new and improved Normandy. This means you get to see your best friend Kenneth again an hopefully spend some time with the Commander and her friends.

Outside C-sec headquarters you meet Kenneth and after some hugging an saying you missed each other the two of you quickly make your way to the Normandy and are greeted by the happy face of:
