Chapter 2 by NoWay6969 NoWay6969

Who Finds this Game?

Full rules of the game (And added commentary)

The game has a multitude of rules that are loosely followed in each path. So each iteration may be different to help spice it up (yadda yadda).

So lets get it out of the way first-

"Welcome to Male Paradise. In this game you will find some fun scenarios to experience. That being said we have some rules to go through!
Rule 1: No one is allowed to quit prematurely. If someone attempts to stall the game they will be **** to play.
Rule 2: To move one has to draw a card. Don't worry after that it is all automated.
Rule 3: To win reach the center of the board.
Rule 4: The winner decides if the scenarios stay.
Rule 5: Have fun!
To make sure everyone gets the most out of their cards we have instituted a new rule: When everyone has drawn a card the game will be paused for 24 hours."

This is the text every game starts with. It gives foundation of what will happen. If you cant play the game makes it to where you are able (somehow), you have to draw at least 1 card to move, and you have a time period of a day before you can draw again. Winning conditions are reaching center of the board (left ambiguous), and then having them decide if the changes are permanent.

So that is the foundation- but what about the movement, special cards, and more?

Lets talk special cards:

Green- These cards change the game's rules in some shape or form. They are classified as an event meaning only the assigned person reading the card will be able to share the information. Ways in which they can effect the rules: Card Limits, Time before next draw, Movement order, potency of cards, amount of special cards, player tokens changed, ect.

Red- These cards are classified as punishments. Exceed the card limit for the first time you get one of these cards no matter what. Punishments stay with the person even if the scenarios are reversed after the game. Be cautious when grabbing one.

Yellow- These cards are classified as rewards. Exceed the card limit for the third time you get one of these cards no matter what. Rewards stay with the person even if the scenarios are reversed after the game. Feel proud when grabbing one.

Blue- These cards are tricky, in more ways than one. These cards are classified as pranksters. Everyone but the person drawing them know the scenario. These scenarios usually only affect the person during a drawing period because they often require phrases or specific noises to activate.

Orange- These cards are classified as events. This style of events take teamwork to fulfill its requirement. Only the person who drew this card gets affected by its success or loss condition. Warning: Some players may intentionally prevent you from winning if you draw this card.

Purple- These cards are classified as events. This style of events are competition based. Either the losers get something or the winner does. If this card ever comes up, dont lose.

White- This is an ultimate card. No one knows what it does since the whole thing turns white, but we think it is good. (Okay but for real it will change the world positively. Like no more wars, global warming, no more in home gym tutorials with jazzy pop music, ect. Only if the scenarios stay after the game is won does this card become permanent.)

Black-This is an ultimate card. No one knows what it does since the whole thing turns black, but we think it might be bad. (Okay but for real it will change something to make the game more exciting. It is completely random- to either having the players become gay or into homophobes, to have all the cards drawn already to become permanent [becoming red], or even to have the players start from the very beginning. It is the most wild card in the deck.)

Now that that whole.. clusterfuck of cards is here lets talk movement.

The game always mentions how far the tokens move for a card drawn, it not only gives a sense of progression but actually helps me decide what card to give the character. So- lets see what that means for the characters.

One Space- This either means I give them something that has the potential to be good or something that is 'bad'. This movement has potential for 'drawing again'.

Two to Four spaces- Ima be honest 2-4 are kinda the same but it basically just lets me do whatever I want as long as it is technically mild by themselves. (Though it gets crazy when pairing them with other cards of the same vein)

Five spaces- This is where I get to make potent cards that will have an affect on the characters. Though not ground breaking these cards will let me either go down a different route for the character or push a certain scenario to happen.

Six spaces- the highest amount I will normally go. This can have drastic changes of any kind. If I want them to do something then this card makes them do it, if I want them to be into something they are into it. It is the ultimate card that will affect them in some shape or form. These normally give the 'draw another card' at the end.

6+ Spaces- I will probably make this events or very special cards.

Negative spaces- I will likely treat this as a punishment of sorts, that or a positive card for the person.

Okay okay, now that we have gone over my general rules and ideas for things- lets talk about the tokens and the cards associated with them.

Surprisingly- yes that does matter. When making the characters I assign them a token and card style. The token either highlights the person as they are or what I want them to become after the game. The cards themselves help even more- sometimes even changing their design mid game to help me remember what stage the character is at in a moment.

So uh- what about the game talking to the group occasionally?

Oh yeah... that thing. Uhhhh- next question?

Are non players able to interact with the game after it is started?

Yes! If someone were to somehow stumble across a game mid session and place their token at a starting position they are instated into the game. (I really hope I can write this in at some point)

Good Job, you read through that!
