Friday morning at the Menards

“Gary,” said his sister coming down to breakfast on Friday morning, “I got an email from Mom and Dad they are well having a great holiday and all that. Are you going out tonight? Can Alison and I meet you somewhere? She wants to go to that nightclub again.”

Half asleep and thinking how nice his time with Laura had been yesterday- ‘a girl much more like me in interests and ...well everything then Bernie is’ - he mumbled, “that’s good, err yes I think so” as he poured himself some coffee trying to remember what he had to do that day.

“Gary are you listening to me? I’m trying to ask your advice.”

He blinked at his sister “Yes.”

“Well what should I do with Alison, she is so pushy. And there’s Bernie’s neighbour Eric, he is a really nice guy ”

“Look I don’t know, I am not giving you advice the last time I did you got cross, I guess you have two options with Alison- do as she wants or give her the bird and go look for something else and maybe Eric is that something else. I can’t help you. It’s your life not mine.”

Lil pouted- just the thought of doing as Alison wanted made her wet for she remembered some of the things Alison made her do, her mind flashed back to Alison fingering her in the Basement and then to another party, at one of Gary’s friends, where the two girls had been invited because, Lil thought, everyone was sorry for her over the breakup with Steve. She remembered volunteering to help with the food and then when that was mostly done Alison coming into the pantry- it was a separate room where Lil had been putting food away – pulling the door closed behind her, turning the light off and gripping Lil by her waist. Lil remembered how she squawked in surprise but there was Alison pulling Lils panties down and slipping a dildo – already wet- Lil still didn’t know how that happened, between her legs and doing her with the toy till Lil- horrified that someone would hear her or open the door and expose the two girls- came with a rush. She had never thought that such nervousness would be so exciting.

“But,” she returned to the present, “It’s not as if I love her like you love Bernie- without the sex, Alison and I wouldn’t be together. And Eric is different, he doesn’t want sex so much as someone to talk to and be his friend”

Gary was glad he had his back to his sister so she couldn’t see him blush- he had after all just been thinking how much Laura might make a better companion then Bernie. “Um well its your choice, I got work to do remember, I have this assignment to finish and I have to go to the Rubins’ and clean their gutters out”

“Oh before I forget Mrs. Rubin left a message on the answering machine. She wants you to pick up an order at the Clinique store. Are they nice people to work for? Bernie said that they were going to her Mom’s for dinner tonight.”

Gary’s blush deepened as he thought of some of the ‘extra’ things Mrs. Rubin had made him do, things he had been happy to try out with her for as Mrs. Rubin said “it will make you a better lover for that nice daughter of Joyce’s.”

“Um yes they are good employers but they won’t be if I don’t do my jobs today so I had better go upstairs and work for a while at this assignment.”

His sister stared at the table thinking then went up to her own room and tried to work. After a while she heard Gary get up and he called out “Right I’m going now. See you later. I'll get the stuff at Clinique first.”
