Frank sighed as he closed the door on the Scott women, amused and intrigued by Natalie's reaction to seeing her daughter abused and degraded. He suspected that her normal sexuality was a factor but that the **** had reduced all her inhibitions to a negligible level. It would be curious to see how that played out. And whether Natalie and Tara were having some serious 'mom and daughter' time at home.

He decided he wanted out of the house for a while, and grabbing a light jacket, drove to a nearby bar, ordering and sandwich and a beer and watching the ball game on TV. The place was about half full, the patrons obviously drawn from the neighbourhood, looking affluent and assured.

He was half watching the game, half reminiscing, when a young man stepped up to the bar beside him.

"Excuse me, sorry for bothering you. But I think we're neighbours. You live on Ravenside Crescent right? Number 70? My wife and I are in 66, just one house away. Simon Ellison, my wife is Julia."

"Frank Castillo. Pleased to meet you."

"Would you care to join us? We have a table right over there. Actually it was Julia who recognised you. It's her birthday today, but it's been so busy we didn't have time to plan a party. So this is it. It would be great if you could join us."

Frank glanced across the room to where Simon had gestured and saw a pretty young woman watching them. He smiled at Simon and nodded.

"I'd be only too happy to join you."
