Frank and Maria

Maria slowly sits Susie back down, before grabbing Frank by the arm and tugging him towards the pong table.

As they approach, the first thing Frank notices is that Billy seems to be wobbling back and forth, and when he takes a step to pick up a ball that had fallen on the floor, he nearly falls over. He sees the likely culprit of this as well, a dozen or so beer cans littered on the floor around him and Naomi. Of course, Naomi is just now opening her second beer.

“We’ve got this.” Maria beams as she fixes the cups on their side of the table.

Then the game begins, and it quickly becomes obvious that Billy is still much better than either of them at the game. Of course, even the single beer Naomi has consumed seems to be hindering her, as she doesn’t make a single shot all game.

While Billy is able to keep him and Naomi in the running, Frank and Maria’s combined mediocrities about add up to one drunk Billy.

The game is in overtime, where they’ve arranged a triangle with an extra cup on top, and Billy is struggling to make the top cup.

Frank sinks the top cup, and then Maria makes another shot, and it seems like they might finally dethrone Billy.
