Frank, he's too masculine.

"Oh, I don't think we really have any problems, doctor. Frank and I have a very stable, happy marriage, and we're so proud of our kids." She blinked, clearly at a loss for why the family would need me.

I frowned, "But Catherine, didn't you say Frank was a bit worried about some of the things you were telling him to do? What things are you telling him that would cause such strife in the family?"

I crossed my arms and looked serious as I tweaked a few things between her and Frank. Catherine blushed furiously as she remembered their very serious problem. "Oh yes, I can't believe I had forgotten. Doctor, I, I, I think Frank is too masculine, it isn't a good influence and to put it bluntly, I wish he would act a little more effeminately. The girls don't need that kind of toxic influence in the house. That's what I've been trying to tell him, and he doesn't seem to understand."

I put a very serious look on my face and turned to Frank. "Is this true, Frank? Have you been lording your masculinity over the kids and your loving wife?" Frank visibly seemed to shrink back in his chair from his wife a bit. "Well doctor, I don't really think so. I mean, I'm still a man ok? I know my wife really runs the family and makes the important decisions, but I don't think I should have to, you know, hide that I'm a man." I made a few reality changes to the household, moving things in line with their discussion.

"I love Catherine, and I try to abide by her rules," Frank's clothing shifted a bit from the loose jeans and polo he was wearing to a pink V-neck T-shirt, and tighter jeans. I could see his stubble visibly decrease and his hair got a touch longer. "But she keeps telling me how to do everything! I already know how to fold clothes or what to dress like! Sometimes it feels like I'm not even the man of the house." he shifted uncomfortably.

"Oh come on Frank!" She said finally, exasperated. "We both know your job doesn't pay well, I do all the bread winning around here. The least you could do is fold clothes and clean the kitchen the way I tell you!"

She threw up her hands as the changes continued. "And I already told you, we don't have the money for you to go out and buy a whole different set of clothes, it's cheaper and easier if you just wear Christina's and my old things while you clean."

Christina had started nodding. "Come on Frank," she no longer used 'dad', "I've been really nice about letting you use my shorts and tops. Is it took much for you to clean the house? I know you told me you secretly like to clean, and didn't want to tell mom."

Frank's face looked horrified. It was one thing for the family to let him borrow their clothes. It was another to openly talk about it, especially in front of guests.

Frank's clothes shifted again, and his hair was now a little longer than his wife's, with frosted blonde tips. his pink V-neck was now skin tight, and his chest hair had disappeared. his tight jeans had shortened to a pair of black womens running shorts, and his hands had the slight irritation that comes from doing dishes all day.

He now had memories of shaving his legs every day, because Catherine couldn't stand the feel of hairy legs in the bed. He had on white chunky sneakers and short white socks, practical for cleaning all day.

"Catherine," I said, "Do you realize what your husband's influence is doing around the house? I can feel the level of male toxicity in here, it's off the charts."
