Forward!

You decide to take the path you know. You may not have been able to beat Smotherella, but surely you can take one guard, right?

"Halt, ****!" The guard cries out, holding up a makeshift crossbow. "Surrender or else!"

With nothing lose, you fling yourself towards the guard and contort your body to avoid being hit. Unfortunately, this isn't The Matrix. Before you can get close enough to disarm the guard, she fires her crossbow, hitting you dead on the shoulder with a syringe. Instantly, your whole body becomes numb, and the room starts to spin. Whatever she injected you with, it was some good shit.

But you can't think about that now. You charge ahead, ready to brute **** your way to the exit. On the other side of the guard, you can see the light from the exit. You're almost there!

By the time you're close enough to try and disarm the guard, your vision has become a complete blur. The guard puts away her crossbow by herself, which at first makes you think you have a chance now.

Then she brings her leather boots to her face with a single snap kick, sending you reeling back. Suddenly, you're on the floor but you don't know why. You never even felt it. You didn't feel the guard placing her boot on your chest, either. Whatever she injected you with must have numbed your body of all physical sensation.

"Smotherella! Over here! I caught her!"

You squirm and start to panic as the realization sets in. You've been caught. It's all over.
