Formulate a plan

Hm, I doubt I would actually become a hero. Too many rules and politics to deal with. Orion thought to himself. But being a Villain, even with a sidekick, is quite dangerous. Perhaps I can find some middle gound. He continued, ignoring the rest of the sorting.

Suddenly, an idea came to mind. What if I gather a team to defy the current system. Both of hero's and sidekicks. He thought. He then reexamined the sorted group. Hm, Ice man, medium control, but a lot of power. Most people giving him a wide girth. Cat girl, basic transformation skills, doesn't want to be here. Blind Girl. Interesting power, unsure of potential, disappointed with current power placement. Yes, these three have the potential to be big. If all of us were on a team, we would be a **** to reckon with. And if any others catch my eye, I can always add them to the team.

With a smile he headed to lunch with the rest of the hero wannabes. Seeing that the Ice guy from earlier was sitting alone, Orion approached and sat across from him. They were silent as they eyed each other, scanning for any weakness. "It seems you are not the most popular fellow around." Orion spoke, breaking the silence. The guy said nothing.

"Not one for small talk I take it?" Orion smirked. Again he said nothing. "Very well, I will cut to the chase. You intrigue me." He said. The white haired man raised an eyebrow. "You have a grasp of your powers yes, but I sense your full potential is still locked inside you." Orion said.

"Explain." The man said.

"Ah, he does talk." Orion smirked. "My power over shadows and darkness let me sense a person to a degree, as everyone has an inner darkness. You, have locked away apart of yourself for some reason." Orion said seriously. At this statement, a layer of ice started to spread over the table.

"Now now, no need to be icy. I'm just stating what I can sense. But, I believe, we can come to an understanding." Orion said placing his hands on the table. "You see, I am disillusioned with the current system of choosing hero and sidekick. And I myself do not consider myself a Hero. I prefer to work for myself and if i help people it happens. But, many would disagree with me and lable me a Villian. So, I need some support. A team perhaps. In return for your support, I will help you to master your abilities." Orion explained.

The man studied our protagonist for a solid five minutes, debating the offer in his head. "Deal." He said holding out his hand. Orion smiled and shook it, feeling the cold of his body. "I am Sven." He introduced.
