"We know you weren't guilty, Doe. If banging the Vice President's wife was punishable by ****, then half of the House of Representatives would be dead. You were just in the wrong place at the wrong time."

You were slightly hurt. Nancy was a slut, but you didn't know she was THAT big of a slut.

"Besides, that experience could help you."

"What do you mean?", you ask, confused by her statement.

"Our former allies weren't completely spared from the hemorrhaging of the government. Many of the old guard has been replaced again & again. With so many young men dead from the war, more & more positions are filled by unmarried women. We think you could... Persuade them better than any of our diplomats."

The situation finally dawned on you. Men were in drastically short supply. This could be a good mission after all.
