You decide to take a look at Roxy's Post-It. Upon inspection, it's very clearly addressed to you. The only other word on it aside from your name is 'laptop.' You go to the small desk at the far end of your living room. Roxanne and you share a communal laptop; purchased mainly for her, you use it as well so she didn't feel weird about you essentially buying her a computer. You fire it up and see a document left up from the last time Roxy used the computer. It reads:

'Hey you,
If you're reading this, then that means I've stopped trying to fight it. Maybe you could tell or maybe I'm right when I tease you about not understanding women. But basically, there's a lot I haven't said to you that I've wanted to say. You're one of the sweetest, most kind hearted people I know. At first, I thought it was just a crush, simple attraction.
'But it's more than that now. I tried telling myself these feelings would pass, but they haven't. If anything, I care more about you everyday.
'I know this will probably ruin our friendship, but I had to let you know. I'm taking the easy way out, writing you this letter, because I just couldn't take the chance that you didn't feel the same. I'm going out. Going to clear my head, and hopefully when I get back you'll have read this. If this changes things between us, I'm sorry. Whatever course of action you need to take from here, I'll accept. I just needed you to know I love you.

You sit back, speechless. When you think about it, you wonder how you never saw this before now. There has always been a steady stream of flirtation and mutual attraction, but you've been too afraid to act on it. Mostly for the same reasons as Roxy. Completely floored by the news, options begin flooding your mind. Do you give her space? Wait to talk about it? Do you go looking for her? Where would you even start.

Letting out a long, contemplative breath, you plan your next move.
