Footsteps on the stairs

Lizzie heard footsteps on the stairs and turned around, expecting to see Adam. And right, there he was, moving upstairs into her direction. Lizzie, a little bit insecure, gave Adam a smile. He smiled back. Did he know about his attraction on her?

Unconsciously Lizzie moved backwards until her lower back reached the desk. Adam´s hand touched her leg, causing Lizzie to let her giggle. Lizzie stared at him. Could he read her mind? Did he know about her thoughts under the shower?
