Follow as a group and head to Medbay-3

You can't think of a good reason to pass up an offer of being escorted by marines, not in a place like this.

"Yeah let's stick together."

Zhang is pleased. "Outstanding. I'm glad to hear that you aren't one of those know-it-all scientist types. Now we'll try to go back the way we came. If we run into a roadblock then we'll take an alternate route."

A light bulb pops up in your head. "Wait sergeant, we should take a detour to Medbay-3 first. It's not too far."

"What's over there?"

"Class-A birth killer pills. My friend Emily had stashed some away over there just in case someone made a 'mistake'. I think it should be able to take care of my potential problem."

"Hey though think about the pro-life aliens out there!" Gomez jokes.

"Dude this isn't the time to crack dumb shit like that," Jackson says as he smacks the corporal's helmet.

"Just trying to lighten the mood, jeez."

"Okay let's go. Jackson you're on point. Gomez and I will be covering the rear. Rachel you'll be in the middle."

Everyone positions themselves near the door. Jackson in front, you right behind him, and the men of higher rank in the back. Jackson turns his head around.

Zhang nods. "Yep. Move out."

The door hisses open as everyone with a rifle readies themselves. Once the coast is for sure clear, the group files out into the relatively dark corridor in an upside down T-formation. You give out directions to the private and he obeys without complaint. Minutes are filled up with the pattering of boots on the floor and your voice.

In the middle of the final passageway to your left is the clean silver door that reads 'MEDBAY-3'. Things are looking oddly optimistic. No dead bodies or unusual sounds throughout the journey. On top of that this passageway is fully lit, only becoming dim again at the end or where you came from. You want to question it but figure you should just be thankful.
