Follow Saber

You decided to go with Saber, and patrol the town. The two of you walked in silence, keeping a respectful distance from one another as you walked. Saber was a stickler for manners and properness, and you had learnt - mostly - that this was best obeyed. As you walked, you could not feel any disturbance in magic, and Saber did not draw any attention, disguised as she was in regular clothes instead of her usual armour.

You reached the edge of the town and headed back towards home. Saber looked at you out of the corner of her eye, taking a deep breath before speaking. “Master… I would wish to discuss something with you.”

She stopped, grabbing your arm in her strong grip and making you hold eye contact with her.

“In my previous life, I desired to make everybody happy, no matter what. But it only led to war and selfishness. I am starting to believe… that I should seek things that make me personally happy, instead of the happiness of others. What… do you think, Master Emiya?”
