Follow Kim

"Hey Ron, why don't we... Ron?" Kim realised Ron was no longer by her side and turned around to look for him. She spotted him at the buffet table, which wasn't surprising. What was surprising was the fact that he wasn't alone. There was a rather shapely redhead talking to Ron, and she seemed to be getting awfully friendly with him. The redhead was laughing at his jokes, smiling quite a bit, and she even seemed to be... touching his arm? Even Ron, one of the less intelligent members of the male species, couldn't miss a hint that big.

Kim felt a pang of jealousy that only got even worse as Ron and the other girl wandered off to a backroom, hand in hand.

"Well. Who needs him anyway. I came to this party to meet new people and have fun, and that's just what I'm going to do." Kim told herself almost bitterly.

"Well... look who it is..." a voice said behind her.
