Follow Alyssa, to see if she can learn anything.

Alyssa's behavior was extremely aggressive. And her comment about the last girl left Candice wondering if she had anything to do with Kate's disappearance.

Candice watched Alyssa bike along the path. The same path that would be part of the track for tomorrow's race. It could have been that Alyssa was just practicing. It could be that something more sinister was going on. Candice decided to follow Alyssa to find out.

Candice kept about 100 yard distance between her and her target. It was important to not let Alyssa know she was being followed. Suddenly Alyssa accelerated, and disappeared behind a blind curve and off to a dirt road. Candice accelerated as well, noting that Alyssa was going off the path. Perhaps she was going toward her real objective.

Candice turned on the dirt path and continued biking. She did not see Alyssa anywhere. The path, narrow and barely used, was getting a little harder to ride on.
