"I mean, just because I'm undeclared doesn't mean I'm planning to just mess around," you say with a little laugh. "I wish I had the confidence to know what I wanted to do already! I think it's great to have that kind of focus. I just...don't."

"Oh, but that's ok," Rosa protests with a smile. "You don't _have _to know what you're going to do right away. I'm just glad that you don't plan to just mess around."

"Hey! I'm not going to _just _mess around!" Britt protests, sticking her tongue out at Rosa. "I plan to...fool around, too! And maybe screw around!"

"Dear Lord, not that," Leah mutters. Rosa just laughs and swats Britt.

Judy glances at her watch and frowns. "Oh shit, guys, that mandatory orientation meeting is starting in like five minutes...we should get going." All of you sigh and grumble as you stand up. Still, as you fall in step with the girls, you smile. You like all of them, and...it feels good to already have friends.
