Floating down the local river

?Its kinda lame, but my roommate, Lindsay and some of the other people on the floor are going to go float down the river on innertubes. I guess there?s a small river around here some place and its like the thing to do around here.?

Bryan considered the possibilities. Floating doing the river with Karen her, roommate and some others didn?t sound so bad, as long as that got back in time for some of the parties that evening. Karen must look pretty good in a bikini he thought to himself. He wondered if they might be able to float some beers in a cooler along with them.

?Why do you think its lame?? Bryan asked.

Karen paused, and looked down to the floor of the carpeted hallway before looking back at Bryan. ?I?m not a very good swimmer. I kinda panic if I can?t touch the bottom. I guess I?m a bit of a baby.? She grinned.

?How many people are going so far, do you know??

?Lindsay said that she thought it was just under ten. You?d be in the minority though, there are only two other guys signed up.

Just then Bryan felt a tap on his shoulder, and Scott?s familiar voice.

?Dude, you work fast, hitting on the ladies already.? Karen laughed, and subconsciously Bryan heaved a sigh of relief. Then he introduced Scott to Karen and the three of them talked over whether they should go tubing that afternoon. After a few moments, the three decided that Karen would knock on Bryan and Scott?s door with who exactly was going, and if there?d be any booze brought along or if it was okay for that matter. Karen promised that she?d also bring her roommate, Lindsay when she came over.

?Seeya then!? Karen said as she walked up the hall and into her room.

Bryan and Scott went back to their room, and crashed on their beds, discussing their options. ?Dude, that girl is so hot for you. I could tell it just by looking at her.? Scott said as his head hit his pillow.

?You want to go? I don?t know what Lindsay looks like, but Karen said that it was mostly girls that were going. I think she said only two other guys were going to be there. If floating down the river is boring, at least we may find two girls to hook up and party with tonight.?

Scott grinned, and propped himself up on one elbow to face Bryan. ?I was talking to a couple of girls down in the lobby, and they told me that when they went tubing on the river last year they?..
