First door on the left

Sam walked into the closest of the three doors on his left. He found himself inside what looked like the interrogation room in a police office. The walls and ceiling were covered in white tile, with a large window-shaped mirror at standing height embedded in the far wall. In the center of the room was a large metal table, with chairs on either side.

There was a manila folder in the center of the table. Sam walked over and picked it up. Inside, he found a plastic baggie filled with the pills he's been taking, a small disc with an unlit red light in the middle, and a note.

The note said, "Press the button when you're ready to talk."

Sam took the baggie and the disc and went to leave the room, only to find that the door had locked behind him. He was stuck.
