Chapter 6 by VixxTheLover VixxTheLover

Lizzie works with her dad, and finds her brother and some friends.

First, working with her dad on the Pier to get some cash.

It turns out that Lizzie’s father had a fairly decent business going. People didn’t hassle him, he had a lot of regular customers, and he usually sold what he needed to in just a few hours a day. With Lizzie helping now, Sam McGuire bought even more edibles and weed, and they sold more. The increased revenue helped him to be able to pay his daughter decently, more than she was making in New York City, and with no bills.

She still hadn’t paid for a new cell phone plan, but as they got reacquainted, Lizzie didn’t even notice. She didn’t care. Being disconnected from email, social media and everyone else helped her to heal. Being close to her father helped her even more.

They focus first on being safe, always. A surprising number of transactions turn out to be electronic, avoiding the need for cash, and Sam deposits any cash they take in at a Wells Fargo bank across Ocean Avenue from the pier they sell on. They are safe about it, never carrying much cash, trying to avoid anyone trying to rob them. And her dad kept little stock on hand, usually buying some new supply every day.

Over the first weeks they build a bit of a routine. Being in no hurry to get going, they sleep in and having a healthy breakfast. Then Lizzie drags her dad along for a jog and some yoga, also working in some push-ups, sit ups, planking and lunges. They also use the gym equipment near the pier as well.

Lizzie is in good shape, and she helps her dad to get a little healthier. He is seen admiring how well she has developed her build, having an impressive amount of muscle for her diminutive height.

Sam isn’t fat, but he is on the thin side, having been through an emotional time with his wife cheating on him, and he hadn’t worked out or really eaten well in a while.

Lizzie and Sam McGuire walk around Santa Monica, exploring the pier and the surrounding area, and then have a light lunch before working the pier for a few hours before five or six pm. It is not bad at all, given the low cost of living in the RV, it makes for a low stress way to live, and it is just what Lizzie needs at the time.

Lizzie helps her dad to clean up the RV, to get it in like new condition, Sam using his knowledge of working on cars and Lizzie her design expertise, and they really make it look nice. Sam still sleeps on an air mattress that doesn’t really fit in the space he pushes it into, but he is insistent. He won’t share a bed with Lizzie. To him it just isn’t what he should do, even in your modern time of **** now being legal and far more accepted, Sam won’t consider it.

As you show a compilation of their routine, the animated Lizzie avatar shows up, and looks content, relaxed. More so than normal, and while her dad won’t let Lizzie smoke a joint, her avatar does. At times sporting dreadlocks, and now nearly always smoking weed.

And then a couple of weeks in Lizzie finally broaches a topic over their morning coffee that has been bothering her.

“So when do you fit dating into this life dad?” She asks her father, who’s eyes go wide. “It has been a while hasn’t it, there has to be someone, so when do I get to meet her?”

Lizzie’s dad waves his hand, dismissing it out of hand, “oh I don’t have the time for anything like that Liz…” he says softly, but she doesn’t accept this.

“Dad…we work three hours a day, there is no lawn to mow,” she replies with a warm smile. “Everything we do could be done in five hours, we have nothing but time.”

Sam smiles at his daughter, “ok Liz, it isn’t the time…I am just, I still can’t get a…” he then pauses, hesitating while drinking from his cup of coffee. “I don’t have the inclination to date, I’m not lonely honey. I am content to do what I do, and just sort of be here, to just exist.”

Lizzie gets a serious look on her face, “Dad, come on now, people have needs.” She replies with a smile, “it has only been a couple of weeks, and while I don’t miss my cheating asshole of a fiancé, but I do miss the contact…I miss the sex dad. How can you not miss sex all?”

Sam McGuire sighs, and puts his coffee cup down.

“Lizzie, honey…” he begins softly. “Me and your mom getting divorced was my fault…” he begins, before Lizzie interrupts him.

“Oh fuck that dad…mom cheated on you!”

He smiles warmly, “but why did she Liz? I lost the physical interest in sex a long time ago, we were divorced six years ago, but we hadn’t had sex for years before that…years Lizzie.” He answers her, “your mom was young, she still looked great, and she had an appetite for sex I couldn’t fill. Like I told you when you got here, that was on me.”

He seems to delay a bit, then he continues, “she got into swinging before we divorced, she wanted me to watch, to see if it excited me, but I just couldn’t do it. So she did it without me, and that is where she met the new guy…maybe I could have stopped her, I don’t know. But the swinging? The swapping they do, the orgies, that is all on me as well, I caused that.”

“My health is better now, my numbers are all good, I am healthy, I am sleeping well,” Sam continues. “I don’t have any physical problems, and I don’t really think that was it when I stopped having interest in your mom…I just stopped really having any interest in sex at all.”

“Do you like men?” Lizzie asks, drawing a wide smile from her dad, “I mean no judgements from me if that it it…”

He waves his hand and laughs, “no baby, it isn’t that. Not men, not women anymore either, that part of me just stopped working. I have decent testosterone levels, I have good blood pressure and cholesterol, something just stopped, and I am ok with it.”

Lizzie’s animated avatar shows up again, looking sad. Lizzie is smiling warmly for her father, but obviously she is sad for him at this point.

Sam then talks Lizzie into changing the subject, moving on to where they are going to get in their workout today, which they then jog down the beach to.

Lizzie is conflicted, you show her laying in bed, looking at her father on a little air mattress that doesn’t fit anywhere in the camper. Her animated avatar shows up and narrates the close of the episode.

“Not what I expected to hear, but what can I do?” She says thoughtfully. “He actually saw mom with another man, that hurts…I can tell you, seeing your loved one with a cock in their mouth does something to you.”

“I guess all I can do is love him,” the cartoon avatar continues. “I need to find Matt, he was here, maybe he knows what happened. But dad doesn’t need to be alone anymore.”

You then show Lizzie move off the bed and try to squeeze in with her dad on the air mattress, and he complains. But she won’t take no for an answer.

“Dad, I am lonely, and I haven’t seen you in years,” she says with a sad look on her face. “So I am sleeping down here on the air mattress, or you sleep up there with me. But it is going to be one of those two things, I’m good with either one.”

Finally Lizzie’s father smiles and concedes. And as the credits roll, you show Sam get up and get under the covers on one side of the Queen bed, with Lizzie snuggling up against him. You show a smile on both of their faces.

Lizzie goes looking for her little brother Matt…
