Firelink Residents

After a good bit of rest you stand from your Bonfire and look around, it was strange it was as if time had passed, a day? two? you couldn't tell but things were different, the Fire Keeper was not in the Throne Chamber, "Hmm Strange? I hope I didn't scare her off" you say aloud, "oh she only went above to speak to the tree" said a grim voice from behind, you quickly spun around in surprise Drawing your blade, "who.." you notice a man sat their on one of the circular flight of stairs, he had a large pauldrons, with light plates above a leather tunic, he had Steel Gauntlets on and Leather Breeches which had armoured steel boots which seemed to have a strange residue on them, his cape which flowed down also had this residue on it, "no need to draw your sword fellow Unkindled" he said raising a hand in a pacifistic manor, he was an "Unkindled" too?

you sheathed your sword slowly approaching the man who let his head fall in a defeated stance, revealing his very large great-sword strapped to his back, and his chain mail covered head.

"so your an Unkindled too? I'm guessing that the firekeeper spoke of these 'Lords of cinders' to you as well?"
"oh no, you're not alone, your another roused from the sleep of ****, we unkindled are seen as worthless. Can't even die right. Gives me Conniptions..." Conniptions? that fuck does that mean? he carried on "...and they'd have us seek the Lords of Cinder, and return them to their moulding thrones..." he said pointing at the large thrones "But we're talking True Legends with the mettle to link the Fire. we're not even fit to lick their boots. Don't you think?" you were a bit overwhelmed by the information dump, resulting in you just nodding, but he gave a light chuckle to your response.

a little weirded out you simply backed away, turning to explore the rest of the Shrine before you went off on your adventure.

you made yourself aware of the shrines residents, first their was the shrine maiden, she was strange but sold a lot of useful items, you brought more of the firebombs you used on the Boss earlier, and some knew weaponry, you got a shiny new halberd which improved your reach, and a brand knew bow and some arrows, you asked how to pay her but she made some dirty joke about paying with your tongue which kind of grossed you out, considering she was like 90 or something, she told you to pay with souls, which you did but it made you feel a whole lot weaker than before, hopefully you can get more while adventuring.

next to her about a yard away was Andre a blacksmith ever hammering away, for some reason you were very happy to see him, you found out from the friendly gentleman that you could upgrade your weapons with titanite, infuse them and upgrade your estus and ashen estus flasks, which was the flasks with liquid you had used to heal yourself a while back.

while searching the shrine you found nothing, but as you examined the thrones you realised one of them was occupied, a small man in rags with a small crown sat on the second throne from the left, you spoke to him stepping down to his throne, his name was Ludleth a small man but a wise one, speaking not of his linking of the Flame but told you, like the other to return the Lords to their thrones.

you decided to save going to look upstairs for later, you searched the area out side the throne, a couple Undead where there but you disposed of them with ease regaining some of the souls you traded to the shrine maiden.

but as you went left of the shrines entrance, you followed the path and at the end of it was man, this man was ragged and looked eastern, he had long grey hair in a neat ponytail, holding a long Katana, his expression was quite blank, hmm maybe he was a Friend?

you approached Hailing the man who remained Blank, you got closer and you knew something was wrong as he tensed up, holding his blade up in a fighting stance as you got closer.
