If the heroine wasn't going to retaliate, Break Girl had no need to fear retaliation and prepare any countermeasures. Instead, she could focus solely on lining up her shots. She'd need that edge, as she was only vaguely aware of the principles of firing her Break Girl Buster in the first place.

"Am I seriously going to get used to firing this thing...?" Trying her hardest, the fighter worked to keep her confident smirk from breaking as she whipped out her big gun. "I dunno... you're the first other robot I've seen with one of these!" Buster Girl said that as though she wasn't certain what to think, but the goofy smile she was wearing suggested she must not mind it. "Ready when you are!"

"I'm... firing!" Break Girl shouted, wincing her eyes shut. It turned out, it wasn't that difficult to fire. The rapid shots came on her command, and she was treated to the bizarre feeling of plasma energy leaving her junk, forcing her to grit her teeth to avoid making a funny noise.{endif}

Buster Girl gamely dodged the shots with a smile on her face, but just as she was looking confident, the final bit of plasma hit her with a pitiful pew sound. Its singe wasn't even enough to tear through her uniform, but she still looked ticked. "Ow! You actually hit me, huh?!"

"I did? I... did!!" Break Girl's eyes went wide behind her shades, sparkling with excitement. "I did it! Woo hoo! I knew I could do it, ha ha! Way to go me!"

"H-hold it!" Her opponent complained, rubbing the smarting contact point with a pout. "I basically let you have that one, right? I didn't even fire back!"

"You already had your chance to fire, Buster Girl! My hit was clean! Go me...! Go me...!" Break Girl did a dorky dance that looked much cooler in her head, pumping her arms randomly in celebration. {if Futa Mode = true}It was also a good deal lewder than she'd intended considering she was unintentionally waving her unsheathed Break Girl Buster around.{endif}

"You missed like almost all of them! Grr, all right, that's enough! Are we training some more, or fighting for real?!"

Break Girl paused, putting a finger to her lip. Had she trained enough? By this point, she was pretty sure she'd thought up a foolproof strategy that would put Buster Girl in her place. Although, she had to admit... "It's going to be a shame, destroying her. Buster Girl was a worthy opponent, and she seems like a good girl. It'd be nice if we could just be friends... And... I've got to admit, she's super, super cute. Maybe I should train a little more before finishing her off..."
