"Me too. But, I do need to tell Rui that she and I need to move on." he replied.

"Don't worry, I'll break it to her gently." you said.

"You would...?" he said, raising an eyebrow out of surprise. "Thank you." he replied, placing a small kiss on your head.

The day after, you had taken it upon yourself to tell Yan Rui that you and Wen Yang have become lovers. Rui was upset at first, but revealed that she fell in love with him because he nearly resembled her last husband Sima Shi.

She then finally allowed you both to continue your relationship, and also added that it was time for herself to move on, too. With that out of the way, you and Yang have sealed the deal together.
