Find one through Housemate Hunter

After considering, you decided to find a housemate through a website called Housemate Hunter. A website that designed to find an ideal housemate by posing pictures of your house and uploading them onto the website so people can look up the pictures and read the preference of the house owner. Once they find what they are looking for, they would call up the owner and move there to live.

An easy process really for homeowner to have a companion to live with, but not for you really. You had tried this website once when you was still living in your old apartment flat and no one really answered your post. Now, being in a new home with large space to live in, you give the website another chance to see if you strike luck this time.

Whipping out your phone as you put your phone on camera mode and started taking pictures of your house, starting from the inside and working your way out. Since you are in the kitchen now, you decided to take pics here first, taking the best angle and best shot to encompass the whole kitchen. After that, you took pictures of the living room, the laundry room and the lobby. The lobby is normal, some drawers and cabinets with mounted coat hanger to hang keys, coats and hats. And some decorations around like photos, potted plant and stuff. And also a small bathroom, more like a toilet room near the stairs.

Once the ground floor was done, you moved up the stairs to the second floor where the bedrooms, the bathroom, and a guest room is. You took pics of the hallway first to show how much decorated it is before moving onto the bedroom. Not your bedroom, but the other bedroom as you took pics of its original, in case your future housemate wants to remake it to their liking. A normal furnished bedroom with a desk, a large closet, drawers and cabinets around with plain wallpaper.

Once that was done, you moved to the bathroom, where it was pretty pristine, probably due to prior cleaning up to make it more presentable to future homeowner, like you. The bathroom was spacious with spaces enough for a shower stall and a bathtub. Long ceramic tub, not a square or rectangular, that fitted against the wall with enough room to move around with shelves for something to put on. And then there was the shower stall, shared the same space as the tub with the shower head hung onto the wall facing the person that would be showering. This one has wooden shelf beneath, completely waterproof to contain stuff in. And both have glass sliding door leading to them.

And a bathroom wouldn't be without a toilet and fortunately, this one does have one. Putting in a small corner of the room where the toilet would be touching the wall instead of the glass door of the shower stall. And there's a clear divider between the large sink and the toilet, a ceramic wall to say the least. Toilet is being the usual ceramic throne but being one that belongs to a fancy hotel.

As for the sink, large and rectangular with equally large and rectangular mirror. To be honest, only the sink is normal-sized rounded square in shape while being surrounded by dark-colored wooden counter with lots of space to put things on. And furthermore, beneath the sink has cabinet to put things on.

And you asked yourself why they had to go through so much effort to make this bathroom so much fancy and pristine during your first time touring the house. Nonetheless, you took some pics of the bathroom and considered the job done. But you decided to take a few shots of the backyard just to be safe, if potential housemate also considers what the backyard would be like. A simple backyard with a pool and some other stuffs like a shed and shower booth.

And with all pictures taken, you uploaded them all to your account on Housemate Hunter website and wrote description of the house you are living in now along with your phone number and name and location. And TAP! the post is uploaded onto the website as you now wait for whoever sees this post and calls him up.

And now you realize that you are alone and have nothing to do. You have toured around the house, minus the backyard, to see how things are in place so you can have someone come over and look. Oh well, perhaps you should do something to pass the time since who knows how long will the members of the website see your post and reply.
