You realize that you will probably get better gear when you finish quests. Some of the patrons mentioned that odd jobs get listed in front of town hall. Perhaps you could do some work that better suits your skills.

There was also the bounty board in front of the tavern. With unassuming feminine whiles you could probably surprise even the most wary criminal.

There was also the Nightingale, the master criminal. They supposedly were in town and the rumor mill said that they are always on the look out for new thieves or spies.
