Alice nearly pulled Cassandra through the dark jungle, silently cursing herself for intervening as she hauled the still sobbing woman along the narrow path. She knew she couldn't travel back the way she had come from, so she opted to veer to her right when she detected a faint split in the path she had followed.

"I...I can't believe he left...left me!" she said between sobs. Alice stopped and turned to face the pale redhead. Her eyes were steal, her jaw set in stone.

"Listen, bitch. I didn't do what I did because I care for you or because I felt sorry for you or any of that other shit. I did it because alone we are both DEAD! So shut the fuck up, move along, and pull yourself together. The rules are different here. Deal with it, or die. Your choice." Alice turned icilly and walked on. She tried not to imagine the astonished stare she was receiving. Finally, she heard Cassandra's footsteps join hers in the vast, primal jungle.

It seemed like hours, and perhaps it was, when Alice spotted the depression. She knew that such things led to underground caverns. Now, with a laser rifle containing a full 62 charges, she was much, much more confident breaching the surface. She pounded on the surface with her booted foot until it crumbled, and nodded to Cassandra. She slid down into the cavern, letting her eyes adjust. No fires burned, no red-scaled thugs. She held her hand up to help Cassandra down. It was a bit cooler in the cavern, many degrees cooler than on the jungle floor above. She heard Cassandra shiver. Alice sat close to Cassandra on the bare cavern floor.

"So, you came after me." She said in an even tone. "I didn't think I was worth THAT much." Cassandra looked at her, shivered, and didn't say anything. Both of them noticed an odd smell, but neither paid it much attention. Cassandra pulled her bare legs up to her chest and sighed.

"What a day." She said. She felt her nipples stiffen as they brushed her skin. "I spend all morning scanning this planet only to be told I was going to have to go down there. I'm just the pilot, not a bounty hunter. Tex hands me a rifle and tells me keep an eye out while he searches the wreckage. Said you were worth 2 million on Brackis III and that a lot of other bounty hunters would be on the way so we had to hurry." Cassandra bit her lip. She felt her pussy starting to get moist. "Why the hell am I getting horny?" she thought. She looked over at Alice. She looked flushed and was squirming a bit. Was she feeling it too?
