Finally reunited!

"Bad answer!" you say as you smack him in the door. The door rattles, so you smack him again and again. You stop when you realise that it might be a good idea to keep him alive in case you need more information from him, but it's too late. In your angered state, you failed to stop in time, so he died. You simply throw him away, and with a big kick, the door flies off the hinges, and you make your way downstairs. You encounter two more scientists who start running when they see you, but you capture them easily.

"Where's the werewolf? The first one to talk keeps his life."

"There!" says one, pointing towards a room at the end of the corridor.

"She's in the ..." the other one didn't get to finish as you discard his lifeless body on the floor.

You drag the remaining one towards the room where you see Jenny, strapped on a table, naked, with just two sheets of white cloth covering her private parts. She is in her werewolf form and has her eyes closed, but you could recognise her from 1000. Luckily, you can see that she is still breathing.

You smack the door open with a kick, and it flies into the opposite wall. You make your way inside and go straight for Jenny, dragging the remaining guy behind you. You will not make the same mistake two times.

"What's wrong with her?" you ask him.

"N-Nothing! She is just sedated, she..."

"What's with all this stuff attached to her?"

"It's to monitor her vitals and ..."

"So it's ok to remove them?"

"Yes, yes!"

"Think carefully! Nothing bad will happen, right?"

"No, It's fine, she is fine."

A feeling of relief washes over you, as that's exactly what you want to hear. Sadly for your hostage, his life ends as soon as you got all the information out of him. You never planned to let anyone live. People need to know what will happen when someone will mess with your mate.

"Jenny, baby?" You carefully touch her. "Jenny please..." You shake her a bit, but she isn't waking up. At least her breathing is in a stable rhythm. You break her shackles and remove any tubes still attached to her. You take her in your arms and start to walk slowly out of the building.

Once you're outside, you realise that everything is quiet. You see werewolves in every direction looking at you. It feels a little bit like a standoff since you don't know how to react. Then the sky suddenly turns golden for a few seconds, and then a shockwave follows, one so powerful that it bursts every window in the complex and probably in the town.

You cover Jenny instinctively, and then look disbelievingly in the direction of the blast. You can't see any smoke or mushroom clouds or anything like that, but that sure feels like the bombs in the movie. The quiet of the night returns as if nothing ever happened.

"The barrier is broken!?" Kevin yells in total disbelief, "Make sure you clean this place up nicely, James, I'll leave it to you." He looks around and yells, "For the rest, we need to go back! NOW!". He starts running towards the pack house before he even finished speaking.

Some people start running after him, and some stay put. You decide to follow; after all, they did help you find Jenny. You run a little slower since you are carrying Jenny and don't want to hurt her in any way. Suddenly, you hear "Vampires! KILL!" from the front and see people running towards your group. Some people engage, but the vampires are not interested in a fight, so they keep running past you. "Don't follow! Let them leave; we need to make it back first." and with that, the short but tense encounter is finished.

Once you make it to the house, you see that the magic on the house is broken, werewolves and vampire corpses are littered all over the place. Some werewolves are patrolling around, guarding those who clean up things.

"What happened?" asks Kevin.

"The damn vampires got us, what else?"

"Where's Eric?"

"In the ground where he belongs! Ptui!" he spits on the ground. "Like all traitors do!"

Kevin ignores him, and you all make your way inside and see what can only be described as devastation. There are injured werewolves that are being taken care of, some resting with no spirit left in their eyes, and some so angry that their fury is almost palpable.
