Chapter 4 by AnEmbarrassedCreation18

What club do I join?

Film Club

I've always loved movies and TV shows. It's the closest thing we can do to make fiction real. I love reading a book and seeing the director is able to make the words come to life on screen. Not just that, I love the emotions that film can give me. Fear, happiness, sadness. I can feel so many emotions in just 40 minutes, from a story that's the furthest thing from real.

It's really no surprise that I would choose to join the film club. To learn and one day make my own film.

Quickly, I walked through the door and introduced myself to everyone and learned how the club works. Every Friday, we'll discuss a film. The good, the bad of it. How we think certain scenes we made. How it made us feel. Etc.

That's just a small part of the club though. The bigger part is actually making movies. Not only is it a good way to learn, but it's a requirement if we want to take a film class later in the year. First, we have to join the club and participate in the creation of a film.

About thirty minutes into the club, the club president called a vote. Letting everyone decide on which type of film they want to make. A comedy, horror, documentary, etc.

What Genre Should The Film Be?
