Bravely and with just a split second to think you meets the xenoform's charge.

With the medical tranquilizers held firmly, one in each hand, you swing at the beast. This is not a wild swing; you've had self-defense training and know how to punch.

You aim a right punch at the strange creature's flank, the tranq held so you can plunge the chemicals straight into it. Your left hand is ready to follow up and deliver a second dose.

The xenoform moves more quickly than seems possible. It swoops low, ducking your blow and spins you around, grabbing your right arm and locking it behind your back.

The last thing you ever see, reflected in the window to the observation, is the fang filled mouth of the unknown alien rip a huge chunk out of your throat.
