Feign Distress

Your memory suggests that the direct approach may not be the best plan, due to the proximity of the street. However, if you are able to lure the female officer to you, you might be able to convert her without any incident. You scan the face of the officer, and are pleasantly surprised when your files come up with one Kim Thomas. This is not only a high priority target normally, but in addition, Ms. Thomas will be an extremely important member of the future resistance.

You step from the shadows, running towards the street.  You have timed the approach of the police car to withing 99.876% probability, and arrive in front of it waving your arms wildly.  The car slows, and a spolight covers you.  Your emotional simulation program feigns distress and embarrassment, and you scurry back towards the alleyway, a look of terror on your face.  There is a 78.45% percent chance that the officer will investigate a nude woman without calling for backup.  Oddly enough this statistic does not change for female officers.

You wait patiently in the dark, as you hear a car door opening and footsteps approaching.  The officer has drawn her weapon and is approaching slowly.  You prepare your phermerone launchers, waiting for the best opportunity.

Your sensors, tracking the female officer, are caught unaware by the blast of a gun entering your back.  You turn to see a man in a trenchcoat, firing at you with a shotgun.  The second blast impacts upon your midsection throwing you back against the wall.  You register minor damage to internal circuitry that will require five minutes to repair.  Limited mobility is available, but all weapons and nanobots are offline. You see the female officer level her gun at the male human.  

You quickly scan his features.  File:  Sean Darius.  Data:  Current member of human resistance.  Extremely dangerous.  You realize that you should have expected the human resistance to send back an operative to attempt to stop you.  Right now, you need to decide whether to try to take him out without weaponry, or observe from a distance and see what his gameplan is.
