Family Lunch
Florence exited the kitchen. "Hubby! Miranda! Lunch is ready!"
"That's your mom," John told Miranda. "She's been dollified, so that's why she has that smile on her face."
"Okay," Miranda whispered. "Coming, Mom!" She went into the kitchen and sat down. John took his seat beside Florence and the family began to eat.
After they finished, John heard a knock on the door.
