FPC Day 11 - The morning after

You wake up with Lara in your arms, her face buried in your chest. The bed is a mess, but your body feels like jelly. For once, you don’t have morning wood. You’re totally relaxed.

But Lara wakes up the second that you do, her eyes snapping open. She must be a very light sleeper. She quickly realizes there’s no danger and relaxes, laughing quietly.

“Oh, hello,” she says to your huge boobs, which you try to cover with your arms.

She comes in and kisses you, and it lingers, but not for too long. Then she’s getting up. You blearily sit up too, still not used to the feeling of weight in your chest and the changes to your body. You hear the shower come on and try to collect yourself.

You remember last night and blush, looking at the bathroom door. That wasn’t just a hookup. You touch your lips where she just kissed you. You wrap yourself in the sheet and grab your phone, checking your texts and trying to focus on your life for a second.

Lara finishes her shower, and there’s an awkward moment when she comes out where you know she’s about to say something. Maybe she wanted you to join her in there. You just need a minute.

But she doesn’t say anything. You get cleaned up and go downstairs together. You half expect her to hold your hand, but she doesn’t. It’s still pretty early, but a few other girls are already up. Aki is on a sofa drinking coffee, and Sun is… out on the lawn in a swimsuit made of strings, apparently tanning? The sun is barely up, and it’s not cold or anything, but it’s not even hot yet. What’s her deal?

As you stare at her through the window, Lara takes your hand, maybe just to get your attention.

“What’s she doing?” you ask her.

Lara shrugs. You follow her to the kitchen, where Bee is making breakfast for anyone who comes in. Bacon and sausage are on a griddle, eggs are in a skillet, and there’s another griddle devoted to pancakes. She’s keeping everything moving without burning any of it with almost robotic perfection.

“Could we have some?” Lara asks cheerily.

“No,” Bee replies. “You have a breakfast invitation. Both of you.” She takes a card out of her apron and tosses it to Lara, who catches it, startled.

“Hmm,” she says curiously, opening it. “It’s from Annette. Brunch at her place. You and me,” she says to you, looking into your eyes.

You blush. “How’s she know to invite us both with one card?” you whisper. You’re sharing a room with her, and maybe your neighbors up there know that you and Lara weren’t just sleeping last night, but how does Annette know?

“We’ll have to ask,” Lara says.
