Chapter 52 by vinnievu vinnievu

Head to the Marina?

Explore more of Hau'oli City

(Since there is a lot of things going around, I will briefly describe the stores here.)

Outside the apparel store, there is a old lady selling scarves, probably to prepare for cold days. She notices your Island Challenge amulet and gives you a silk scarf (which will make Normal Pokemon a little stronger if one carries it). In the apparel store, you can see people admiring the latest selection. One girl mentions that this store sells different ones than at the other island. There is someone in the fitting room, trying out clothes to figure out which one to buy. Another person is trying to find an outfit to match the color of his Pokemon.

At the haircut store, a woman scoffs at her son having hair that has similar structure as his Pikipek. There is a store, supposedly called the Battle Buffet, but it's not open right now.

At the Pokemon center, there is a man who will make Pokemon forget some of their moves; it's kinda weird since there's no real reason why you would want your Pokemon to forget a move. You see two kids playing video games together, most likely a fighting game. One guy mentions something about a Totem Pokemon that has something to do with the trials.

To the right of the Pokemon Center is a fabulous mansion overlooking the beach. Across from it is a city hall. Inside it, you hear someone talking about ribbons, someone talking about Ride Pokemon, someone talking about not having a lot of Berries in the storage area, someone waiting for her documents to be processed, and you see a couple saying something about excitement for a marriage license.

At the malasada shop, they sell the sweet kind and an x-large one, supposedly to share with you and your Pokemon. You see people munching happily on these malasadas, with one even sharing a fried malasada with his Pokemon. To the right of it is a construction site for something. And to the right of it is a police station (it's probably a good idea to avoid that place unless you need police help or something).

All right, enough dilly dallying. Let's check out the Marina.
