You’d decided against talking with Kaya and Lisa-Marie. There would be plenty of time tomorrow to introduce them to the new Susanne. Right now all you could think about was checking out Susanne’s house. You’d purposely kept yourself from diving too deep into her memories so that you could be surprised when you did get to exploring your new abode.

Having opted to take the bus to her house, you gazed longingly out the window while sipping your smoothie.

Reaching your stop, you step off the bus to see your new home. A modest town house not too far from school. You’d seen Susanne jog to weekend practices along this route when you took the bus into town, not realizing she actually lived this close.

Upon entering you’re greeted to a very bare looking living area that contains a couch, TV, and a stationary bike.

“Guess she wasn’t much for home decor.”

You dip into the hallway and see a door half open.

“I wonder if that’s my new bedroom?”

You walk down the hall and open the door fully. Turning on the lights you are met with a room jam packed with football memorabilia. Banners, posters, and several signed and framed jerseys litter the walls. There’s a shelf covered in trophies and medals too.

“Woah.”

That was all you could say.

Scanning the room some more you see a full length mirror hung by her closet, an unkept bed, a desk with varying books and bottles, and a nightstand covered in junk.
