Tracie looked at Amanda thoughtfully. "Where do I begin?"

"We could begin by getting out of this tub of spectre-spooge."

"You're safer here than anyplace else in a hundred-mile radius, Amanda. And as for the tub, it's twenty inches deep. Can you feel the bottom? Could you ever feel the bottom?"

Amanda thought. She was short, but not that short. And as far as she knew the only bottom being felt was hers. She blushed.

"How is that possible?"

"I'm a witch. Or a wizardess, or a wicca priestess, or a world-goddess, or whatever. This is magic."

"You magically created ghostly guy-juice?"

"Okay, second major point. This is not spectral cum, even though it kind of looks like it; it's ectoplasm. Ghosts leave it behind them, but only because their presence abrades on the walls of the universe and it bleeds. To us though, it's raw magical power."

"Us? You mean the living?"

"I mean women with the gift. I got mine naturally, you got yours because of... we'll get to that later. Belinda had it, but the head ghost ruined her. He was gunning for you too, but I was able to split the ley line before he got to you. That's what this room is: a blood-blister in the universe. You and I can drink that blood, which makes it visible to us and to others. If Rhonda came back in she'd see the two of us sitting in a tub of water talking."

"That's weird."

"You want weird? Feel your clothes below the water line. And look at your tits now that they're wet."

Amanda felt down, running her hands along slick wet skin. She reached out and touched Tracie and felt her naked skin as well. Then she looked down.

"What the...? How the hell... ?" She had breasts; they weren't big, but they were definitely there.

"That's what would have happened if you'd gone through a proper puberty. Yours was completely fucked up by a series of spells. Unfortunately, they can only be seen in this room, and only sensitives can see them."

"I'm moving my bed down here."

"Don't be silly. If you're willing to learn, you can make your breasts visible – and tangible – to you any time you want. That's not why I awakened you."

"Well why then?"

"This house is on a ley line. You've seen enough erotic fantasy to know what that is, right?"

"Not so much that last one unless you know how, but you've basically got it. This house sits on a ley line now, but that's because somebody moved the line here. That's why the ghosts are manifesting; that and the fact that over a dozen boys and one girl have been killed in this building, not to mention the animals."

"So this is like the Amityville Demon Sex-Palace?"

"Pretty much. Except there's no hidden ritual dungeon that I know of. Anyway, moving a ley line takes serious power: more than I can handle alone."

"Why not bring in other witches?"

"Because the last two that crossed this threshold were blown back into the nether realms. I don't know why I wasn't affected, and I don't know how I knew that you wouldn't be. Trouble is, we need three: that's why losing Belinda is such a blow."

"How did you 'lose' Belinda."

"Only virgins can be awakened. She was a pure one, and you're okay because all your perversions and intrusions are self-inflicted."

"What do you mean by that!?"

"I mean you masturbate a lot, but nobody's ever done it TO you. Anyway, we better get back to where the ghosts can see us; otherwise they'll get suspicious and we'll have problems."

"Can't you tell me more?"
