Examine your ship

looking at your control panel, all of the labels have a different language taped over them. You don't really recognize it. the box in your seat has the same language written across a stack of papers.

Looking around the rest of your ship, you see a few other ships through windows. everything outside your bedroom has been emptied out, leaving your ship mothballed. A look back at your bedroom indicates nobody has been able to break in, if they happened to try.

Your sleep capsule was set to wake you after a week, but for some reason it's been longer. A warning indicates that it awoke you because it ran out of "organic materials." It's likely it ran this long because of the "organic recycling" system.

Going back to the bridge, you examine the papers, trying to make sense of them. buried at the bottom you find some with more familiar writing. I seems your ship was found adrift, auto-pilot set to run the left engine at cruising speed, sending it in an endless circle. It's estimated that an electrical storm confused the computer without setting off any warnings. It changed hands several times, though few were willing to hang onto it knowing that it maintained a live owner.

The history in paperwork fades as the writing transitions to the new language you don't understand.
