Everything that's happened so far, kind of.

Link was quite exhausted after all that work, but it had to be done. Once he had a free minute, he walked over to Malon who was washing a table. There wasn't many more patrons in the tavern right now, especially not after the incident so it made things a lot it easier for Link.

"Hey, Malon. Do you have a minute?" He asked the orange-haired wonder.

Malon looked up and smiled at her hero. "Of course I do."

Link seemed to be happy to hear that. He began to walk off, towards the stairs, motioning for Malon to follow him. Which she eagerly did so. She had a thing or two she wanted to say to Link as well.

Once they reached the top, there wasn't anybody up there, so going to another room was unnecessary. "So, Malon.. I have a couple of things I wanted to say. Ever since I've been here in Kakariko these past two days, I've been--" he was cut off by Malon placing a finger over his mouth.

"It's okay. You don't have to tell me, alright? A lot has happened so far, and I have to say... Thanks. I mean it," she said. She wasn't trying to be rude by cutting Link off, but she figured it would be hard for him to get whatever is he had to say out. Which, was true by a large margin.

Link inhaled, and exhaled through his nose and nodded. That was when something amazing happened. Malon leaned in to kiss Link on the forehead. "That's me letting you know how much I've appreciated you and your help. I also happen to know you're the one who uh.. Covered me up last night. I didn't mean to fall asleep -- so I'm glad you were there to help me. I'm also glad you didn't do anything else to me. You're a good man, Link. So that's why I want you to come to my room tonight. I've got something for you."

Link heard every single word, but he was incredibly surprised. A look of shock was on his face. They weren't dating, but the kiss on the forehead and the teasing Malon pulled was surprise. He wasn't sure if things were moving too quickly or if things were going at a nice pace. He's never been in a relationship like this with somebody before. It was... Very confusing. At the very least he nodded. He would be willing to go along with it.

After all of that, Malon smiled back at Link and headed down the stairs. Link figured he should do the same. It was almost time to get paid again too. That was also quite exciting to say the least.

In any case, things seemed to be going smoothly.
