Events and plots are taking shape

Baroness sat in the office space going over the reports from the Philippines. Zatanna was laying across a chair to her side playing with a pack of tarot cards. Anastasia mused to herself about how things were shaping up. It had been a week since ensnaring Cassandra and Sidney. Cassandra was proving to be the superior pussy licker of the two, but Sidney had much better fingers. Of course Mary-Jane was always up for sexual fun no matter what. Anastasia looked at the presentation that her lovely had prepared for her. It included material from the wiki as well as the original comics. A trained leader and combatant for the fictional Hydra terrorist organization, empowered with powers by exposure to “Cosmic Rays” (How triat sixties monster movie) and a renowned bisexual fetishist.

“I see a problem,” Anastasia said, “It says here that she killed her supiriors in order to rise to power.”

“I figured that would be a sticking point,” Mary-Jane kissed Anastasia again and tapped the screen of the tablet, “So I found a fan-fiction version where she got pulled out of the time line a bit earlier and dumbed in another timeline and is perfectly happy to be the understudy to her supreme leader and lesbian lover.”

Anastasia looked at the text and its description, it was clearly written by a latex fetishist and that would do very nicely.

“That is the version I will use,” Anastasia said, “Go check with the Doctors and see if they have my machine working.”

“There was another before I go Mistress,” Mary-Jane said, “Take a look at this candidate.”

Mary-Jane kissed her mistress after opening the other file on the tablet. She then started out of the office area stopping only to kiss Zatanna on the lips before heading out.

“So what have we got?” Lady Jaye asked as she walked into the Intel section’s hole.

“NSA sent this over,” one of the Secret Squirrels said, “it is a heck of an anomaly to start with, but it has been going on for a week.”

“So?” Scarlet asked.

“Here,” he pointed at the computer screen, “Look at the area codes and the exchange path IDs.”

“Atlanta Georgia,” Scarlet noted, “what are these exchange paths?”

“New Hampshire, Vermont going throw Boston,” the private said.

“So, the cell phone my dad got me has an Atlanta Georgia number,” Scarlet crossed her arms, “That is really common these days.”

“Except this was made from an office phone, not a cell phone,” the private pointed at the screen again, “No tower data what so ever.”

“VOIP?” Lady Jaye interjected.

“Voice Over Internet Protocals use internet data exchanges until they hit the final destination,” another secret squirrel said as they came in, “If they go to a ground or Cell line at the end and not another VOIP terminal.”

“What makes sense?” Lady Jaye asked.

“Number spoofers or remote billing access ports,” the second squirrel said, “Some companies have an account that lets them make calls from any phone anywhere on a billing account belonging to an officer where ever.”

“Like calling cards?” Scarlet asked.

“More complete but yeah,” the first secret squirrel said.

“What do we know about the phone number?” Lady Jaye asked.

“It belongs to these guys,” the second squirrel handed Lady Jaye a print out.

“An Extensive Enterprises subsidiary front company…” Lady Jaye read.

“And E.E. is in bed with Cobra,” Scarlet finished the thought.

“What can we do?” one of the squirrels asked.

“By ourselves,” Lady Jaye said, “Not much stateside, if we are backing up a federal law enforcement agency…”

“I know a goon in the DEA,” Scarlet, “He is tool, but he is good for ‘wild hog hunts’ as he puts it.”

“Miss Martian?” Anastasia asked Zatanna.

“Powerful Psychic Mistress,” Zatanna responded promptly, “Telekinetic, shapeshifter, more than qualified for personal security or infiltration operations.”

“And these ‘rules’ she has?”

“Personal moral code Mistress,” Zatanna said, “Things like don’t **** your power or use them for personal gain, no brainwashing people as so on..”

“She is afraid of fire?” Anastasia read in the file.

“Subconscious,” Zatanna said, “Crippling phobia level. All Martians had it. From what I know, there were genocidal firestorms on Mars and they gave all Martians an inherent fear of fire.”

“Had it?” Anastasia noted the past tense.

“Where I come from,” Zatanna said, “Mars is a dead world filled with ruins. The only Martians are dead, off world refugees or remote probes we sent there.”

“Hmmm,” Anastasia said, “Both ladies are interesting.”

“John is also good,” Zatanna said, “Megan’s ‘uncle’ is also a Martial with nearly identical powers.”

“I haven’t made my decision on who to recruit next just yet,” Anastasia said getting up, “But I think it is time we consult with the doctors about their progress…”
