Chapter 7 by Acorn142 Acorn142

What should I do?

Escort Tiffany to the Audition Room

"Well, I've taken you this far, I might as well make sure you don’t get lost along the way,” I say. I am trying my best to overcome the physical effects of Hannah Hooterness touching my crotch. While I definitely want to file away the memory for future late-night fantasy, it is making it a little hard to walk right now.

Soon we arrive at Room 504. “Here we are,” I announce and open the door for her to enter.

It is my first time in this room, and I didn’t know what to expect. It looks like a small studio apartment living area, with a sofa on one side and a small dining table and chairs on the other. A large framed mirror is on the wall opposite the door through which we entered, and there is an open door next to it. Through that door a middle-aged woman approaches.

“May I help you?” she asks.

Tiffany introduces herself and explains she is there for an audition. The woman frowns and looks at her watch. “I’m very sorry,” she says. “Your appointment was five minutes ago, and I have already released my assistant for another job. I assumed you weren’t coming.”

Tiffany looks crestfallen.

“It’s my fault,” I explain, stepping up. “I was showing her the way here and got turned around in the process. It’s my first day, and I’m afraid I got us lost.”

Tiffany looks grateful, but the woman continues her frown. “I understand, but I can’t very well audition her without my assistant — unless, of course, you are willing to help.”

Tiffany looks at me hopefully, and my imagination goes into overdrive about all that ‘helping’ might entail. Perhaps the wisest course would be to ask for some clarification, but I already feel responsible for letting her be late in the first place.

What should I do?
